Chadlington First Team returned their attentions to the league on Saturday as they hosted FC Nomads of Witney.
It was all change in the starting line up due to host of unavailabilities. Into the team from the Reserves came Steve and Scott Hardiman, Josh Betts and Andy Watson providing cover on the bench.
Chad have played well in recent weeks but their Achilles heel is finishing chances. It was a similar scenario again but this time they managed to limit their opponents up the other end.
Lee Woodward was the man to step up to the challenge and struck twice in the first half to give Chad a 2-1 lead into half time.
The team then defended valiantly in the second half to maintain the lead and take a valuable 3 points. The win now lifts Chadlington into 6th position in the league.

Chadlington Reserves were unlucky to lose 2-1 to Bampton United Reserves on Saturday as they took a much changed side to the game.
After going in at 0-0 at half time, Bampton introduced a couple of first team players and the game changed. They raced into a quick 2 goal lead.
Chad fought back with a goal from Charlie White but they didnt have enough legs to grab the equaliser.
