WDFA Div 1. Chadlington 2 (Godfrey, Hazlewood) Middle Barton 1 (Dan Bott) WDFA Div 4. FC Ascott 0 Chadlington Reserves 0

Chadlington First Team maintained their 100% record at home in the league on Saturday as they dispatched Middle Barton 2-1.

Goals from Jordan Godfrey and Jacob Hazlewood meant that they also maintain their third position in the league.

Team: Bayliss, Walker G, Walker T, Webb (c), Woodward, Hazlewood, Taylor M, Hughes, Godfrey, Chadwick, Scearce. Subs: Holland, Peachey, Harris.

Chadlington Reserves dropped points away in the league for the first time this season as they were held to a 0-0 draw away to FC Ascott.

The Reserves had the better of the chances and were a constant threat all game and would have won were it not for the impressive FC Ascott goal keeper.

The draw means that they slip to 4th in the league but the clean sheet means that they still have the best defensive record in Division Four.

Team: Betts, Godin A, Foster, Jeffcock (c), Hardiman, Hannington, Wellstood, Hobden, Waller, Godin E, Wezyk. Subs: Taylor M, Watson, Legg.
