What a Chap(man)

Game 2 and what was in store for the mighty whites?
Well firstly Croughton started with exactly the same team who played in the first game as they only had 8 players, however lets be very clear indeed that these players were one heck of a team...it was shaping up to be a toughie.
Not to worry, your hero's entered the field of dreams and looked ready for action:
Ford (goal), Cottrell (Def & Capt), Thomas (Def), Lyle (mid), Burman (mid), Cameron (Mid), Fagan (fwd)
this game was much more evenly balanced and it didnt take long before Croughton started to apply the early pressure, this was soaked up well by Captain Cottrell and the rock at the back - Thomas the enforcer.
looking a bit slower than we should Croughton caught us off guard and scored to edge ahead and enter half time one up.
time for a team chat and some juice and back into the mix. Lyle got busy put in some neat touches, Burman was his usual energetic self and had some great mazy runs but he ran out of runway, Cameron and Fagan did the team proud but before we knew it 2.0............aaarrggghhh so annoying
Never mind, the ace in the pack was played and one came The ChapMAN........Jake bounced straight back into the game and like a pinball whizzing around the box it fell to the thunderous boot of Chapman who busted the back of the onion bag.............get in
2-1........could we net another? could we get that equalise? any chance of nicking it at the end?............nope. The ref blew his whistle and clearly does not understand "Fergie time".
2 - 1 to Croughton and a fair result...........well done to our chaps though, great spirit
