Chadlington First Team had a mixed April in the promotion run in of Division One. The month started off perfectly as Chad beat their title rivals Tower Hill 1-0 at home. However the next two league games saw Chad drop 5 points with a defeat against Aston and a draw to Ducklington.
Three consecutive league wins then followed against Aston, Hanborough Reserves and Witney Royals to put promotion back on track and set up a big May.
Chadlington Reserves also got their April off to a flyer with a table turning result against promotion hopefuls Wootton Sports. A 3-2 win gave the team hope that they could move away from the bottom end of the table but 3 successive league defeats followed including against relegation rivals Milton Reserves.
At the end of the month, the Reserves are staring relegation in the face and need a big final month to stay up.
