On Wednesday 13th April the club held a celebratory game to mark 100 years since the winning of the first trophy at Chadlington in 1922.

The First Team took on a Charity XI side and eventually ran out 6-1 winners despite going 1-0 down in the first half.

In all 36 players took part, representing teams of the last 25 years. The oldest player was 45 and the youngest 17. In the middle was referee Dennis Souch who has clocked up over 1000 games for Chadlington as man and boy since the 1960s.

Match proceeds went to the mental health charity, Mind and a total of £375 was raised.

Also providing a back drop to the game was the presence of the entire ‘Clarksons Farm‘ team filming for Series 2 and wearing the soon to be released Chadlington FC replica shirt.

Well done to all who took part and here’s to the next 100 years!
