As is an annual tradition (when not battling with a global pandemic) the adult football club compete for the Chadlington Sports Cup. This season the First Team represented Chad and the Reserves, Lington.
Both sides battled it out in a friendly atmosphere on a glorious sunny September day to claim village bragging rights.
It was Lington that came out on top but all agreed that the village name should continue to represent both local tribes and as Lingtonchad doesnt sound particularly inviting, all agreed that the name Chadlington was probably the best way to go.
