Chadlington First Team beat Spartan Rangers 3-2 at home to move up to second place in Division One on Saturday.
Despite a bright star it was Spartan that took an early one nil lead in the game. That lead was only cancelled out by 44th minute penalty via captain Ethan Bennett.
In the second half Chad took control of the game when Jacob Hazlewood put them 2-1 ahead on 60 minutes by heading in from a tight angle. Ewan Thomas then hit a fine strike to give Chad a two goal cushion.
While pushing on late in the game, Spartan struck back late minutes before full time to make it 3-2. Cory Kelly for Spartan getting his second goal.
