Chadlington First Team travelled to Hatherop in Division One and comfortably ran out 2-0 winners. Goals came from Sam Lewis and Calum Curtis and more could have followed but it was a solid performance which keeps them in 6th place in the league.
Chadlington Reserves travelled to Carterton Town in Division Three and once again started slowly to find themselves 1-0 down. A long throw found the head of the Carterton centre back and looped into the net over the head of Chad keeper Matt Chadwick.
Chad huffed and puffed on the small Carterton pitch and the poor surface stopped their natural game which forced them to go long. One such long ball enabled Rocky Burton to grab the equaliser and it was 1-1 at half time.
In the second half, Chad played better football and as Carterton tired space opened up. As second goal from Rocky Burton and a third from Adam Tinkham made it 3-1. It could've been more but the job was done. Full time 3-1.
