Week 3 Results - 1st October 2022

Chadlington First Team picked up their first win of the season on Saturday as they comfortably beat Faringdon Town Development at home in Division One.

It was an all round impressive performance from Chad and a much needed 3 points.

Goals came from Sam Lamb, Sam Lewis, Alfie Peachey and Rocky Burton.

Chadlington Reserves traveled away to Yarnton A in Division Three in what they knew was going to be a tough afternoon. Their opponents having come off the back of a 14-1 victory the week before.

It was made all the harder for Chad as they had just the bare 11 on the day.

However the 11 they had were magnificent and were competitive throughout. Chads stubbornness and grit frustrated their opponents who seemed to think they had a devine right to roll teams over.

The final score of 0-0 was a fair result but it was Chad who created the best chances of the game and kept their cool as Yarnton lost theirs along with most toys from their pram.
