Chadlington Reserves were beaten again in Division Two by an exuberant Milton Reserves. The final score was 5-1 but for the majority of the game it was a close affair.
Chad got off to the worst possible start by conceding in the 1st minute when the ball was failed to be cleared. Shortly afterwards striker Rocky Burton limped off with a hamstring injury replaced though by the returning George Slatter from injury himself.
On 25 minutes an equaliser was found as Jacob Hazlewood made it 1-1. Chad were back in the game and on top only for Milton to capitalise on mistakes at the back and make it 2-1 at half time.
The second half was a poor affair, Chad never got going as Milton were more determined in attack and aided by a strong squad boosted by the first team not having a fixture.
The goals flowed from Milton and Chad couldn't respond. Final score was 5-1 and It was a harsh lesson for the Reserves which they all must learn from and respond next week.
