Week 9 Results - 12th November 2022

Chadlington First Team went back into league action and travelled to Faringdon Development on Saturday.

With Faringdon below them in the table it was key to get a result and climb the table.

A goal each from Alfie Peachey and Jordan Charlesworth secured the points with a 2-1 win more comfortable than the score line suggests.

Chadlington Reserves entered the Jack Busby Cup on Saturday at the second round stage and faced Eynsham Reserves who they had beaten the week before in the league.

With Eynshams first team not having a game, it was expected as a tough encounter but it never materialised from the opposition.

Chad started the game in intense fashion and never gave Eynsham a sniff in the game.

The hero of the day was centre back Aaron Bennett who grabbed his first hat-trick. Other goals came from Mauro Esteves, Nadir Fortes and Pacey Clifton.

Final score 7-1 and into the next round!
